The Shop

More than 25 years of hides in Old Town.

For more than 25 years, American Leather Company of Scottsdale has been making hand-crafted belts, buckles, handbags, wallets, jackets and other custom leather products for a very happy clientele. It is a family-owned shop. Rod owns the place, and Linda and Manal are the names that keep turning up in the reviews.

It is one room on East 1st Avenue — glass cases down both sides, a rack of hanging belts, and a display board above it.

Any Buckle, Any Belt

Every belt uses screw-type fasteners, so the buckle comes off in seconds and goes on the next strap. One belt, a case full of buckle sets.
